A fire at a food preparation factory unit in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire resulted in severe fire damage throughout with asbestos cement debris internal and externally to the factory. There was also contaminated food waste and water damaged machinery.

Proactive Asbestos Control were called in by Wellingborough Council to clear the complete contents and asbestos debris so the unit could be re-built.

Proactive removed all the asbestos debris, contaminated contents, machinery including fryers, ovens and a forklift truck. The unit was handed back to the client as a bare shell.
